Why would a seller get someone to shill bid in order to only run an item up by $1, which is what happened with the sunglasses (which 42 didn't win). If the seller can't be bothered, why would you leave feedback for any subsequent items you bought? They probably only left feedback for the first item and no others because the seller has never left anyone feedback. If they were shilling for the seller I'm sure there'd be some retractions. None of buyer 42's bid retractions (4 in last 6 months) were on this seller's items.

When I was selling off lots of odds and ends I had people bid on totally unrelated items because something else would catch their eye, so buyer 42 bidding on tops, sunglasses and swarovski items isn't suspicious. The same goes for the clothes - seller could have several the same (shop stock, etc) and the fact that the clothes are new makes me think it's most likely shop stock (or stolen). The seller could have a heap of them so there's nothing suspicious about relisting the same item after it's sold. Buyer '42' won a swarovski item in March and left feedback for it. If the price difference is low, forget the auction and buy it saves you a lot of hassle, especially if there are a lot of watchers for the auction item.where the price may exceed the BIN price.Maybe it's too late in the day for my poor brain but I can't see anything to indicate the seller is shill bidding. Also see if the item is available to buy instead of at auction. With eBay you never know when an identical item might come up.and you might get it cheaper. I never bid above what I am prepared to pay. The more watchers there are the more competition you may have when bidding. Go to, enter the listing number and you will find out how many other people are watching the item. I'm a collector and I bid for some items from overseas and those auctions can finish at anytime (like when I'm asleep!) That why it is handy to use a snipe service to bid. If you are not then you weren't going to win no matter when the auction finished. Put your highest bid, and if there's a demand for the item watch the bids rise in increments and with any luck you may be the higest at the end. If you opt to use a snipe service (like Gixen) you can set and forget.
